sunshine daisies

People are always worried about others changing. That college would change them, relationships would change them, or anything else. All of this is assuming that change is for the worse. but I worry about the opposite - that some people will never change. With time, new experiences, and new opportunities they still won't leave behind their old ways. Old habits die hard, apparently. The worst part is when someone they trust is constantly offering guidance to change them for the better. Maybe it's about being stubborn. Maybe it's flaws only I see. Maybe you just can't change some things. Either way, it's such a disappointment.

"Life can either be accepted or changed. If it is not accepted, it must be changed. If it cannot be changed, then it must be accepted."
